    Thomas has over 30 years of experience in medical device market development. He has held various roles of increasing responsibility in Sales and Marketing at Edwards Lifesciences, a global manufacturer of heart valves. Leadership positions at Edwards included Director of Global Talent Management and Business Unit Director of Heart Valve Therapy based in Shanghai, China. Thomas also has extensive experience in business development, portfolio management, and strategic planning. In February 2018, Thomas was named President of Bioplate, a company specializing in state-of-the-art fixation devices used in craniomaxillofacial surgery.

    In addition to spending three years in Shanghai, where he launched innovative heart valve products for Edwards, Thomas spent three years in the United Kingdom as Business Unit Manager of Surgical Heart Valves with St. Jude Medical.

    Thomas holds a BA from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Pepperdine University, CA.
