Michael is a medical device developer and investor, with a focus on value creation along multiple points in the health care delivery process. He is a practicing cardiologist in Orange County, CA, for over 20 years. Michael completed a cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, with a special emphasis on heart failure and cardiac imaging. He subsequently obtained his MBA at the UC Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business. He is a veteran of medical device and digital health start-ups.

Michael’s medical and business experience allow him to identify and evaluate novel technologies that represent opportunities to create medical as well as economic value.

He was raised in Hawaii, attended Punahou School, Stanford University, and UCSD School of Medicine. He is married and has three children.
